These Terms & Conditions apply to the K&L Junk Removal LLC website and to junk-removal services provided by K&L. By using this website or requesting service, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Quotes and Estimates
Website pricing, starting prices, phone estimates, and photo-based estimates are estimates only unless K&L confirms a final price for the specific job. Final pricing may depend on volume, weight, item type, disposal cost, labor, stairs, distance, access, loading conditions, special handling, and other job conditions discovered on site.
Scheduling
Preferred dates and times submitted through the website are requests until K&L confirms them. Same-day service may be available but is not guaranteed. Arrival times may be affected by traffic, disposal-site delays, weather, job duration, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing accurate job information, identifying the items to be removed, ensuring K&L has lawful permission to remove them, and providing reasonably safe access to the work area. Customers should identify fragile surfaces, hidden hazards, building rules, elevator requirements, access restrictions, or other conditions that may affect the work.
Items We Cannot Accept
K&L may decline hazardous, illegal, regulated, unsafe, excessively heavy, contaminated, or otherwise restricted materials. Examples can include certain chemicals, fuels, explosives, medical waste, asbestos-containing materials, and other items subject to special handling or disposal rules. Acceptance of any item is subject to applicable law, disposal-facility rules, equipment capacity, and crew safety.
Changes to Job Scope
If the amount, weight, type, location, or condition of material differs materially from what was described, K&L may revise the estimate before performing the additional work. The customer may decline the revised scope before the additional work is performed.
Payment
Payment terms will be communicated with the quote or service confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due when the job is completed. Returned payments, chargebacks, or unpaid balances may be subject to reasonable collection costs to the extent permitted by law.
Cancellations and Access
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. K&L may reschedule or decline a job when conditions are unsafe, access is unavailable, required permissions are missing, or the requested work differs substantially from the agreed scope.
Property and Damage
K&L will use reasonable care while performing services. Customers should remove or identify fragile, valuable, concealed, or pre-existing damaged property near the work area. Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
Disposal and Donations
Items collected may be disposed of, recycled, donated, or otherwise handled at K&L's discretion in accordance with applicable requirements and available facilities. Once items are loaded and removed, recovery may not be possible.
Website Forms and Uploaded Media
Information, photos, and videos submitted through the website are used to evaluate and respond to service requests. Do not upload content you do not have permission to provide. Website submissions do not create a confirmed appointment or guarantee a quoted price unless K&L separately confirms it.
Calls and Text Messages
By calling or texting K&L, you may receive responses related to your inquiry or requested service. If you separately opt in through a website form or another consent method, K&L may send customer-care text messages about your inquiry, quote, scheduling, and service updates. Message frequency may vary and message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help where supported. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing services.
Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered SMS messages.
SMS Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to opt in to receive SMS messages from K&L Junk Removal.
